Usman Alvi

Born deaf into a hearing family in Lahore on 25 Sep 1983.
I was brilliantly talented artistist even as a young child. Still, the socio-economic background, society’s perception of a deaf person as a disabled person, and the lack of resources for the deaf community at that time made pursuing his dreams difficult.
Charcoal on the floor & walls was the medium in my early childhood to express himself!
