About Vivian Westerman

I attended the University of Arkansas, American Airlines Stewardess School, and the National Academy and Art Students League in NYC.
My sculpture work in the 70's included a Vietnam War Memorial made up of four figures for Senator Hartke's (D-Indiana) Veterans Affairs Committee, and I created a thoroughbred horse which was to have been the centerpiece of the Virginia Thoroughbred Associations's Equine Hall of Fame.
For the past 30 years I have worked as a graphic artist in the oldest (since Civil War) and largest (300+) artists community in the United States on Jackson Square in the French Quarter of New Orleans. I wrote a book called "French Quarter Artists" which is available at https://www.amazon.com/dp/1977779530.
