Jannis Kounellis inspired wall sculpture. Used simple found materials including painted canvas and found wood. In this assemblage, I've used acrylics with found objects on a canvas of wood and wire, creating a textured tapestry that speaks to unity and resilience. Each element, unique in its form, is bound together, signifying strength through diversity. It's a symphony of materials, harmonious yet bold, that will infuse any space with a spirit of togetherness and a reminder of our collective potential when we join forces. This is a high textural exploration of mixed media using painted canvas, wire and natural material such as wood keeps the artwork at the basic level of structure. I continue to explore the simplicity of straight lines that is inviting and balanced, not overwhelming.

As an artist, David Hauge is primarily self-taught. Dave works in acrylic paints and all drawing media including, pastel, textile, metal, wood, and canvas. His assembled mosaics include pieced together bits of material including canvas and scrap wood and metal that he cuts, sands and arranged in complex wall designs. Paint and media are heavily layered on wood and canvas surfaces. Dave believes in producing unique art pieces with the most unique materials that he can find. For his art Dave always feel that it is the many varieties of pieces that makes his art unique. Using mixed media including acrylic, pastel, crayon and wood construction. Dave tries to tap into his source of creativity starting all pieces with no intentions and allows the art to evolve through numerous generations with experimentation. Much is left to chance and interpretation to the finished work. Every piece undergoes a process of construction and change and is impossible to replicate. https://www.davidhauge.com https://www.instagram.com/davidhauge.art
