My art is my voice in a world often silenced by fear and injustice. Every brushstroke, every medium I engage with, becomes a battle cry against oppression, an anthem of resilience, and an exploration of the human condition. Through my work, I confront the personal and the political, the invisible traumas that shape lives, and the power of hope and transformation. My brush is not just a tool; it is my sword, cutting through silence, shame, and indifference. At the core of my practice is a deep commitment to women’s empowerment. I explore the complexities of gender, violence, and survival, weaving together narratives that demand visibility and provoke dialogue. I engage with a diverse array of media—painting, installation, sculpture, collage, video—constantly evolving to reflect the multifaceted nature of the stories I tell. My materials are as varied as the emotions I channel: canvas, paper, clay, barbed wire, dolls, Louis Vuitton bags, 18th-century missals, and found objects. Each element holds its own history, which I repurpose to construct a new, visual language of resilience and defiance. Art, for me, is an act of resistance and a beacon of hope. It has the power to make the invisible visible, to challenge the status quo, and to inspire change. Through my work, I invite you into a world where the complexities of life—its beauty, its pain, its resilience—are explored in depth, with honesty and heart. Ongoing series and projects: Born to (painting, figurative): a woman’s diary Prêt-à-porter (collage): a humorous take on life Badrooms (installation): the pain of child abuse Wonder Women Now (photography, exhibition): DV survivors’ resilience Please tell her that I love her (painting, abstract): love is action.
