Acrylic on Linen Canvas This work is from a series called a moment in time. This work expresses the profound family struggles in the current climate, where hopes are being shattered. Jobs have disappeared, family unity is on a survival mode, parents and children are facing moments of uncertainty and how to stay connected with shared responsibility in times of challenges while striving to survive with whatever means. A homage to all those families who are struggling to cope in a confined space in these difficult times, some families have had to make frequent visits from one food bank to the other, seeking support for their family while others are in despair.
