100 Points on a Line

In these works, LINE speaks to the source of art, the very beginning if you will of creation. It is the making of a mark, the capturing of a moment, an essence, a visual reference that each line reveals. Every piece begins with a simple blueprint: one hundred points on a line. Then, following Paul Klee’s formulation of, “taking a line for a walk, aimlessly for the sake of the walk,” the record of an action of motion comes into being.
