3.1415 Complex Nature

The artwork is inspired by patterns found in nature and code. Prime number sequences, pi, Fibonacci and Archimedes geometric patterns are created using code and translated onto wooden panels. Although it looks machined the artwork is done by hand so, there are flaws and inconsistency. The final work shows the complexity and simplicity through natural process and form. 16 mixed media works on burnt ash wood. Oil and resin are used on the wood after etching and carving. 6 @ 4'x 4'x 6”, 6 @ 2’x2’x4" square panels.
