An Imperfect Garden

The photographs in this cycle were created in our own garden, a biodiverse space in which we embrace the wabi sabi principles of imperfection, impermanence and naturalness. The garden has taught me that I am not the great controller but the caretaker at best. As an artist, I am interested in how relinquishing this notion of control can be at the centre of an artist's work.
