Ink paintings

Drawings and paintings made with chinese black ink and simple bamboo sticks. Fascination for this simple yet dynamic and powerful technique has roots in my appreciation of Eastern philosophies, oriental art of calligraphy and painting. In the years 2006 - 2010 I made over 1000 of drawings inspired by concepts of female identity, solitude and transition.
