Dynamic Earth series

These microphotographs were taken using a supported phone camera with an ad hoc additional lens. The 5 photos were exhibited as 'Dynamic Earth' series, at Art in the Ark, Basingstoke UK, 2016. These artworks show an amazingly spectral, glistening, dynamic, 'sculpted', textured, hidden world. The sand grains have originated from rocks and from remnants of sea life that have been eroded ever smaller, and often increasingly rounded, by the forces of wind and water. Part of a Dynamic Earth.
