ENTSTEHUNG V-MUSTER

Based on my artistic engagement with the female nude, the "ZYKLUS GRÜNDIE" emerges. A further deepening of my preoccupation with the female nude takes place in 2005 with the concentration of my work on the intimate area of women - the vagina. Encouraged by the play "Vaginamonologe" by Eve Ensler, several works with this theme are created. In abstract form this artistic examination finds its final expression in the composition of the "V-Pattern" in the summer of 2006. It is a complete departure from the intensive colouring of my previous works towards a reduction to the greatest possible contrast of "black and white".
