Inspired by Andy Warhol
Andy Warhol became synonymous with Pop Art -- his first West Coast gallery exhibition at the Ferus Gallery in Los Angeles marked the debut of the movement. His iconic works, depicting everything from soup cans to Marilyn Monroe, explore celebrity culture and advertising across a variety of media, most notably silkscreening. Contemporary artists continue to find inspiration in his work, including Campbell La Pun and Yee Wong.
