Italian cities

Since early stages of my art career the city has been an important and recurrent theme. I am attracted by clean, straight lines and when I see them in a building I cannot help but take a photograph that I will then later transform into a painting. Where in the world that photograph was taken has never been important to me, as I was focusing on the things that various cities worldwide have in common, instead that highlighting their peculiarities. Now that I have lived abroad for many years and that I am back in Italy, looking back at my body of work it made sense to collect all the artworks inspired by such a fascinating Country as Italy.
