Nests, Eggs and Birds

In my new series Nest, Eggs and Birds I am using all the bird material I have been photographing over the years. There are many birds in my photo folders to use in this series. Birds have always inspired me. Flying is a fascinating way to move. It symbolizes open-mindedness and freedom to me. An egg is a great mystery also. Inside of it there can be the whole universe of the world. In the Finnish national epic Kalevala, the world was born from a duck’s egg. The egg is a symbol of every kind of birth. Which was first - egg or chicken? Maybe they came at the same time.
