Japan, modernity and tradition

A few years ago I had the opportunity to travel to Japan, it was a very special trip full of mysticism and magic. I visited and slept in monasteries, sacred mountains, lush forests, temples, cities and special places full of history and tradition; was intense, deep and enriching. It is a magical place, clean and tidy. People are friendly, respectful and delicate, offering a sense of tranquility and security in the streets unimaginable here. Tokyo offers a great contrast to the more rural areas, with its frenetic pace, its tall buildings, lights, wide range and bustle. A very special place.
