Specious Reality
After observing and photographing this beautiful, serene 1000 yr. old Floridian cedar bog for 15 years, I began to see this landscape from a different perspective. Looking into the still water, I decided to flip the imagine upside down - which is the way we actually see the image before our brains reverse it. This was visually more exciting and intriguing to me than past imagery because it creates a specious reality - one that presents what at first looks like a typical image but is deceptive.
