The Red and the Black

The title of the collection is referring to the famous novel (The Red and the Black) by Stendhal. Also the subtitle of the series is "Stendhal syndrome", the disorder that causes rapid heartbeat, dizziness, fainting, confusion and even hallucinations when an individual is exposed to an experience of great personal significance, particularly viewing art.
