This exhibition is a celebration of her return to drawing & painting. The sacredness of nature and dependence of life upon the tree to sustain the balance of the earth is a beauty that fascinates her. The interconnectedness of nature and energy flowing within living beings birthing from the female form has been part of her enquiry. Facial forms emerge from within many of her subject matter. Figurative structures part human part tree bring association and understanding of the convergence between humans and the environment. In this her first Solo Exhibition her studies show her reflection of the parallel relationship between human and tree which evoke a sense of the intertwined connection of life on the planet.
