Blue Notes

Blue Notes is a collection of portraits of the music world, searching for that magic in which artists completely give themselves to the performance, those moments in which they melt into a mindless state and open a channel of connection between art and audience. It is a great power that the stage exercises on artists, making them transcend from their persona: they become someone else, maybe instinctively and not completely aware of this transformation, but it gives them a sort of inner, wizardly strength. The images are inspired by the work of iconic music photographers of the 60's and 70's such as Henry Diltz, Bruce Talamon and Jim Marshall and their way to portray music legends during their concerts.
