Colorblocks

My Colorblock Series is inspired by our innate attraction to colors found in nature. In the summer, I’m inspired by navy and turquoise striations swirling around low tide sandbars. Come winter, I’m in awe of dusk’s cobalt glow, casting deep indigo shadows and giving snow a lavender appearance. We may know an object as traditionally “blue,” or “white,” but when we look closer, what do we really see?
