Cow Lisa

This work was made to illustrate a book of poems "Cow Lisa" by the wonderful Ukrainian poet Nikolai Leonov (Khariton Maksimovich). The collection includes seven of my paintings and all of them will be put up for sale. These are some of the first works of mine that became known. And the first work to illustrate the book. They were inspired by unusual poetry and are very dear to me. These works were made using the appliqué technique. I used mixed techniques: watercolor, applique (decoupage), and ink. This work uses images of the eye, human hand, moon, cow, sky and birds.
