Minhas Turit Chronicles

Series of drawings made in ink, graphite and watercolor pencils on craft paper, recreating or inventing scenes based on the book of animal stories 'The Reynard Cycle'. These are fables inspired by the writings of Aesop and a mocking Latin epic poem by Nivardus, circa 1150. I chose this reference because of the pleasure that miniatures and engravings in medieval codices and books generate in me with their caricature illustrations of animals fabled about human behaviour.
