After having an MRI back in October 2019, Anastasis requested the images (slices). With over 2000 slices , he chose his favorites, animated them, blew them up, printed them on canvas adding paint and finally sealed with resin...... This self portrait series is an exploration of the anatomy and the physiological processes of the body. Translated into fine art. It is intimate, vulnerable and hypnotic. The finished effect used is resin which is like glass and mirror which makes it almost impossible to photograph. This series can be sold all together or individually.
