Even In Alleys
Art should be a conversation in which the artist has already filled in all their answers. My task is to take the experience I had with a scene and share it with the viewer. This work is an attempt to elevate the mundane to something worthy of contemplation through the photographic process. All subjects are found in areas of ordinary human experience and captured without construction or intervention. By creating an even balance between ordinary & majestic, organic & geometric, familiar & confounding, chaos & order, I hope to hold the viewer in a space that invites them to look, explore, and feel.
