Exulansis. Icelandic Glacial Rivers, 2024

In 2011, I came to Iceland for the first time. I arrived by ferry with my Harley Davidson motorcycle, tripod, camera case, tent and sleeping bag and spent there one of the best times in my life. What I immediately realized, is that Iceland was my place of power. For the last 13 years, I have been spending at least one month in Iceland every year, sometimes coming four times a year. Now shooting rivers from the air is one of my main inspirations for Icelandic trips. I can walk tens of kilometers on muddy soil in order to be able to reach the most distant and hard-to-reach rivers. Exulansis. It is the tendency to give up trying to talk about an experience because people are unable to relate to it.
