EYE OF THE BEHOLDER

"Beauty lies on the eye of the beholder" is the inspiration behind a series of portraits I have been creating since 1995 to date. In my artwork series titled "EYE OF THE BEHOLDER", I chose to portray beauty through a paradox: by revealing a beauty that can be seen, contemplated, recognized and/or admired by anyone, except by the subject whose beauty is being portrayed. "BELLA" (Spanish word for Beauty) is the first female portrait of my "EYE OF THE BEHOLDER" artwork series.
