Faces of Change

Throughout history, individuals have had an influence on the trajectory of history itself. The struggle for equal rights for women, African Americans, immigrants, indigenous people, LGBTQ and the mentally & physically challenged has been happening for generations. It takes a movement to make change and those movements require a spark by fearless trail blazers to clear the path for those people and groups who follow them. The “faces” within each portrait represent people in history that have faced obstacles in their path to success and ability to create change. This exhibition pays tribute to those individuals that have had an impact on art, music, entertainment, science, politics, society, culture, the environment, our world and future.
