Form Inchoate

This body of work grew out of the experience of imperfectly remembering dreams- fragmented images having no literal sense, but possessing powerful emotional content. In trying to visually represent this experience, great care had to be taken to limit the use of language in the studio in order to maintain a tacit, inarticulate state between subject and object, photographer and model. Each session possessed its own dynamic, spontaneously arising from the particular psychology of the moment.
