Ginkgo Eternity

I started the Gingko Eternity paintings to honor a young Ginkgo Biloba tree growing in my orchard. As a representative of the oldest living plant on our planet, the Ginkgo seemed to whisper to me a very ancient message, that resonated within me as I painted… infusing each leaf I drew, with very special wisdom. I draw and paint each leaf with graphite, ink, and natural pigments, repeating the process in a vertical pattern on a linen canvas, unrolled on the ground.
