HOLY & BROKEN by Alessandro Corsini

Holy & Broken is a collection of limited-edition photographic prints on brushed aluminum that was inspired by the lifelong process of discovering my own spirituality. It consists of candid photographs I took between 2015 and 2019 during my trips. My family tree has roots that are deeply entrenched in the catholic tradition but, generation after generation, these links have weakened. Untypically for Italians, I was brought up as an atheist. The concept of "faith" has been unknown to me throughout my whole childhood. Only in my late pubertal years, I started researching about different world religions and set foot on a path towards questioning my atheistic upbringing. A process that to date is still ongoing.
