Hybrid Paintings
Produced in 2011, early into his professional practice as an artist, Mitchell Van Duzer's "Hybrid Paintings" are among his most experimental work to encompass the theme of technology. Envisioning a seamless mix of digital and traditional art techniques, the creative process for these works involved synthesizing abstract images in Photoshop, then printing them onto canvas and augmenting them with hand-painted acrylic elements. The result is a work of art that blends man and machine in equal measure.
