IMPRESSIONS

A ritual emerges and evolves each time I create a new handmade watercolor paint. A word, spoken over the substances, pressure applied to paper to leave its impression. From seaweed to crustaceans, aerial oceans to microscopic cells, ferns and forests - these images appear in abstract form. Each painting is entirely unique, and often a surprise even to me. We can zoom in on one specific area, or take a more broad view. My hope is that observing the beauty within each painting will leave an impression on your soul.
