Italy
I have lived in Tuscany for many years until 2014, when we moved to SW France.
For twenty years I helped my husband with his hot-air ballooning business which has given me many chances to fly. I love to go in the basket with my sketchbook and camera to observe the landscape from a bird's eye point of view. The larger paintings I make, if I have seen something that inspires me, are developed in my studio.
I am most interested in the passing moment and of where my gaze is focused during the period of gently flying over a landscape that I know so very well; not just from the ground, but from the air too.
