Listen

In these pieces I incorporated cut up prints of my previous collection, “Commodities”. The process was an effort to break down some of my personal walls that I have been working within and to document the growth from the exercise in “Listen”. I used materials (rhinestones, wood) that I was not accustomed to and incorporated the process of using the axe against the wood. For me, the materials, method and the order it is laid down are done with purpose because sometimes the order of the process is so much more interesting than the end of the process.
