MA Photography Degree Show 2014

My interest is to investigate the effects of de-constructing and obstructing an image as a devise for revealing hidden elements, concealed meanings and ultimately finding the essence of it. Combining photographic practice with other media along with an extensive methodological process of experimentation is however strongly influenced by my research into the perceptional and cognitional effects of obstruction. Both merged into the questions: "What do you really see?" and "How can a photograph be pushed over its threshold and how will it be perceived thereafter?" This ultimately questions the conventional medium and explores the notion and role of post-photography representation.
