This figure study done in watercolour incorporates decorative architectural features in the Art Nouveau style. Intricate linear designs and natural forms of eyes, faces and floral patterns surround the dancing figure. The face is masked, but the body is free and confident embracing life as a 20C sophisticated women. She dominates the stage while the audience enjoys her enhanced surroundings of mindless pattern-making designs.
