Grand Visage

All the images in this collection are inspired by memories of being too close to the family television. The pixellated and natively distorted images are scanned photographs from CNN's telecast of the 2/7/2023 State of the Union speech. Dye sublimated inks on polished aluminum give these pieces a vividness and saturation level unattainable in any other production process. Pair with a sheet of clear glass to complete the desired effect.
