Natural Discovery

My artistic practice based on the objet trouvé. I work with found natural materials, which I collect manually on the beaches of Formentera, Spain. These elements contain a story at sea. They are elements with memory, to which I give aesthetic value. In "Natural Discovery" I built wall sculptures, with the remains of sea sponges. In some I implement a color treatment, to send the depth of the sea, the vegetation of the beach or a summer sunset. In other jobs, sponges are naturally preserved, which retain a subtle aroma and flexibility. With my artwork I work the relationship with our immediate natural environment and respect for natural cycles; for the sustainable use of resources and the conservation of biodiversity.
