nocturnals

This is series of drawings and paintings which I started after an eye operation. Because I had to take care of my eye I started painting in the dark or with my eyes closed. I had previously also started to draw with my non-dominant hand (to unlock the subconcious), in one endless line and finally I created a technique by using 2 pencils at the same time. Sometimes I added colour the next day, in some cases I started with a coloured background, not knowing what my subconcious mind will draw on it in the subsequent night.
