Bamboo series

I lived in Asia for some time and have always loved bamboo - the shapes, the arc of a bending stem, the sound of the wind on the leaves... This series celebrates all of those things, and ultimately the memories of that time. A cyanotype is a chemical process, a photographic technique which allows unique prints to be made directly onto the paper from shadows. There's an element of chance with the elements of nature all playing a part.
