Combs and Cambers
The series is an essay about the feelings evoked by the rhythmic grouping of entities or bodies from the same lineage when this grouping adheres to strong structural constraints, in this case the warped shape of the needles of a comb. Apathy and initial refusal perceiving deformed and strange entities in isolation, turns in warmth and charm as they are neatly replicated , instantly recognizing the value and uniqueness of the lineage in their adaptation to the physical and structural constraints. At the same time, as the individual becomes evident, so are visible their peculiarities and differences, creating in the viewer spontaneously feelings and preferences or at least a sense of condescension to be perceived as a group member.
