working as an artist in Kenya, I am constantly asked when I am going to get a real job; the body of work investigates what a real job is- I sit at a bench in town (Nairobi), everyday at the same time and realized that I see the same people everyday. the question is whether that daily routine is what a real job should be like or it could be anything spontaneous. The paintings are from the notes I have made as i observe people going to work in the morning and from work.
