Covid Walks Abstract Series

Cristina’s Covid Walks Series was painted in the spring and summer of 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic. These paintings capture the feeling of deep renewal that she experienced as she walked through the Georgia woods each morning at the beginning of our world crisis. When everything came to a complete stop, walking in nature was her saving grace. The works are light, bright, energetic and hopeful and depict the Georgia woods in an energetic, abstract style.
