Evanescence

On the graphical plan, my work is always focused on time, but this time in its ephemeral side, its evanescent and fleeting side, representative of kinds of smokes, that I “freeze” forever I begin each work with conventional techniques (acrylic, pastels, inks, airbrush, etc), then I photograph, and digitally enhance the images. Why using conventional techniques? Painting allows me to obtain a depth, an energy, more than strictly digital work does. I enjoy having the physicality of painting in my work. Why transfer the images to digital? It allows me to enhance the colors, texture and details that can be lost in paint on canvas. The images are highly intuitive in their creation and do not refer to anything specifically. The works
