Gravity

As a creative explorer, I’m always searching for new ways to experience life through art. These pieces represent a body of work created with interior latex paint and some fluid pouring mediums. Once the paint is poured, the substrate is rotated, manipulating the angle of the surface in relation to the Earth. Gravity takes hold and pulls the paint toward the center of the Earth. Then I use my eye to decide when to stop, after I've achieved the desired effect of an aesthetically pleasing design. Using the laws of physics in combination with the beauty of color theory, I create the perfect circumstances for these color compositions to come to life.
