Iconocrash

The Iconocrash project takes inspiration from the iconography of various traditions, reinterpreting them in a new language. We know that the Greek deities were inspired by earlier Indian deities. But what really matters in this project is the evocative function of each icon, which pushes us beyond stylistic traditions and symbologies. The technological element is an essential factor that gives us a contemporary key to interpretation. Among the science-historical scenarios, there are hints of irony that serve to soften other dystopian tones. The material used is wood, an element that allows the application of different graphic and pictorial techniques.
