Medit-Action Watercolors
During the lockdown, every morning, as soon as I got up, the first thing was to lie down on the ground and meditate. Many things happen in meditation, one of which is seeing things from a different point of view. Among these things there are also our fears. One of my fears was and still is that of ruining something that exists, even the very purity of a blank sheet, which can be so easily ruined by a wrong brushstroke … so that was where I had to act! So as soon as I finished my daily meditation, I took the watercolors and a blank sheet and, in one go, concentrating on the gestures I tried to fix in there an image. Large brush strokes, full of water in which I tried to drown my fear. Medit-Action was born like this.
