Art of TASTE: Contemporary Artist Penelope Moore pushes the boundaries of sensory experience by fusing art and wine; innovating an entirely new form of abstract expression. She transforms taste into dynamic, large-scale abstract expressionist oil paintings onto canvas, an urban city mural and two street pianos. Her series, “Palette of the Palate” is a visual interpretation of the palate, exploring how color, texture and movement relate to the experience of taste. In the culinary world of wine, Penelope is an established Action Painter, where she paints LIVE during events as guests intermingle and sip what she is painting alongside her as she paints; confusing the senses and creating a new type of dialogue altogether.
