Pen & Ink
These are selections from a large collection of ink drawings made with a variety of tools I throw into the category of "pen". Inspired by a mix of abstract expressionists - Pollock, Motherwell, DeKooning, Kline, and Kandinsky, they are spontaneous and involve very little cognitive thought. As with most of my work, they are about rhythm and repetition. They can also be combined to create interesting series.
