Perfect Past

The image is here the reason for a picture. Already the title of this series of paintings illustrates the distance of the image and simultaneously the closeness of its memory. It is always the image, finished and complete and leaving no space for any doubts, which comes before the painting starts to develop its own life and moves away from the compelling remembrance of the childhood’s image.
